Ingredients
Mathi/Chala/Sardines – 500gms
For marinade
Red chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Tamarind pulp water – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice – half a lemon
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method
Marinade the fish with red chilli, black pepper, turmeric, tamarind
pulp, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste and salt. Keep in refrigerator for an
hour. Heat oil in a pan; fry the sardines till it turns golden brown on both
sides. When cooked; serve hot.
