Home Made Mango Pickle (Kadu Manga Achaar)

Ingredients

Raw Mango cut into small pieces – 3 nos.
Red chilli powder – 3 tsp
Fenugreek powder – ½ tsp
Asafetida powder – ½ tsp
Mustard seeds – 2 tsp
Oil – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste

Method


In a bowl put the cut mangoes, salt, red chilli powder and mix well. Keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan; add mustard seeds and when it starts to splutter; add asafetida powder and fenugreek powder.  Add the raw mango mixture from the bowl into the pan and mix well. Please off the flame. When it cools completely, it can be bottled tightly and used.
