Ingredients
Squid/Kanava/Koonthal – 500 gm
Onions cut into small pieces – 1 no.
Tomato cut into small pieces – 1 big
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
Green chillies– 2 or 3 nos.
Curry leaves for garnishing
Salt to taste
Olive oil – 2 tsp
Method
Boil the squid in a munn chatty(pan) with little red
chilli , turmeric and pepper powder. When cooked, keep it aside. In another
pan, add oil and onions & green chilli till it turns golden brown. Add in
the tomato and saute well. Add in all of the rest of the masala powders and
salt. And cook and mix well. Add in the cooked squid, let it cook for some
time. When the oil starts to separate out, add the curry leaves. When done, off
the flame and serve with chappatti or rice.
