Ice Cream Payasam

Ingredients


Cream – 1 cup
Milk maid – ½ a cup
Coffee powder – 2 tsp
Milk – 3 tbsp

Method


In a small pan heat milk and coffee together and mix well. Off the flame and let it to cool down. In a bowl, add in the cream and milk maid. Drain the coffee milk mixture through a strainer into the bowl. Mix well. Put the mixture in a plastic closed container and leave it to rest in a freezer overnight. The next day, you can scoop out ice cream out of the mixture. It can be used as ice cream or you can leave the mixture to melt down and use it as payasam. Your payasam is ready. The payasam can be served in serving dishes with cherries as garnish.
