Milk Payasam (Paal Payasam)

Ingredients

Raw Rice – ½ cup
Sugar – 1 ½ cup (as much required)
Milk – 5 cup

Method

In a cooker put rice, sugar and milk. Close the lid without putting the weight whistle on it. Once the steam starts to come out put the whistle weight on the cooker. Let it simmer on low flame otherwise, the milk will separate out of the water. In the low flame let it cook. When you hear 2 whistles from the cooker while in low flame; off the flame and keep it to cool for ½ an hour to let the steam off completely and the payasam to get cooked well and taste good. Serve hot or cold.
