Ingredients
Raw Rice – 1 cup
Prawn – 15 nos.
Garlic – 4 cloves
Pepper powder – 2 tsp
Green chillies – 2 nos.
Pineapple cut into small pieces for garnishing
Spring onion, celery for garnishing
Cashew nuts and raisins roasted for garnishing
Salt to taste
Method
Wash and soak the raw rice. Cook the rice separately. In a deep bottomed
pan, heat oil and roast the raisins and the cashew nuts. Then add in the garlic
pieces, salt and pepper powder. Add the prawn into the pan and cook till done.
Add in the diced green chillies. Mix well and add the cooked rice. Then add the
spring onion and celery cut into very small pieces. Mix the rice well together.
Add in the pineapple pieces and the roasted raisins and cashew nuts as a way of
garnish. Mix well and serve hot with salad and pickle.
