Sweetened Rice

Ingredients
   

Rice raw – 300gm
Jagery – 1 cup
Ghee or Butter – 2 tbsp
Honey - as required
Cardamom powder – a pinch
Cashew nuts and Raisins - for garnishing

Method
   

Soak rice in water for half an hour. Fry raisins and cashew in butter and keep aside. In a cooker cook the rice. After the rice gets almost done; add in the jagery. Cook for some time. Again open the cooker and add in the cardamom powder, ghee and banana pieces. When cooked through, add in the fried raisins and cashew and honey with the rest of butter, mix nicely and serve hot when completely cooked.
